Transition Ages: consider age in conjunction with the child’s inter-canine width measurement to determine the best size Munchee.

For example if your child is 6 yrs old but has a inter-canine width measurement of less than 30mm it may be best to start with the Myo Munchee Mini until your child is able to maintain good lip seal, breathing through their nose, chewing correctly and managing their salivia before progressing to the Myo Munchee Junior.

The Myo Munchee small with handle is the perfect size for children aged 4 years up to 8 years. At age 8 years plus or for younger children with larger body types, it would be recommended to be guided by your health practitioner as to best size and guidelines for use.

The Myo Munchee is a chewing device that is simple to use. It can easily be incorporated into family life as part of the daily routine – it is as easy as Ready-Set-Chew. We recommend using Munchee for 10 minutes active chewing during the day. This can be done in small increments during the day to start and once they are comfortable they can do 5 minutes chewing twice per day.
